# Ranked PvP guide

Ranked PvP is GoBattle.io's competitive 1v1 mode. Each season lasts a month: you earn Season Points by winning, climb the leaderboard, and the best players win diamonds when the season ends.

## Season Points (SP)

Season Points set your place on the leaderboard. You earn SP by winning matches and climbing the ranks: the more you win, the more SP you gain. SP starts again from zero each season.

## Matchmaking rating (MMR)

MMR matches you with players of a similar skill. Winning raises it and losing lowers it. The Ranked PvP window also shows the season's top MMR players.

## Win streaks and momentum

- **Win streaks:** consecutive wins build your streak, and higher streaks can earn bonus SP.
- **Momentum:** play daily to build momentum stacks, up to 4. Each stack multiplies your SP by a little more: 1 + 0.03 per stack.

## Fair play

Dodging matches (leaving early without dealing damage) or going AFK costs you SP. Play fair and have fun.

## Season prizes

The top 10 of the leaderboard receive diamonds at the end of each season:

| 6 | 75 |
| 7 | 50 |
| 8 | 30 |
| 9 | 25 |
| 10 | 20 |

The player with the highest MMR of the season is crowned MVP and receives an extra 250 diamonds.
